About Gene Perrino

Raised in Florida, Gene Perrino served 22 years in the US Army.  The now retired Warrant Officer’s assignments  include duty with the 24th Infantry Division, 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Infantry Division including combat tours in Desert Shield & Desert Storm.

In 2014, Gene was elected Quartermaster to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department Florida.  Before attaining this position, Perrino served as Assistant Adjutant to VFW Fl from 2011-2014,  District 7 Commander from 2010-2011 and has been a post commander for a cumulative 5 years of service to VFW 4864 Citrus Springs & VFW 10087 Beverly Hills.

Gene Perrino has been recognized numerous times for his service to veterans through the VFW, including the honors of All State Post Commander (3 years) and All State District Commander and is Director of VFWRG District 7.  Additionally, Perrino has served as USAWOA Southeast Region Director for 26 years a and is small business owner of Chiefs Car Care.

Married for 36 years to Kathy Perrino, the couple has 2 sons and 6 grandchildren, Gene is a VFW Life Member & Life Member of the Veterans Village where he serves as Treasurer and Budget Finance Chairman.
