About Harry C. Seiler

Harry Seiler board member of VFW Veterans Village 2015Elected to the VFW Veterans Village Board at the VFW Department Florida June Convention in 2013, Seiler is a Life member of VFW Post 7909.  Living in Jacksonville, Florida since 1976, Seiler has served veterans as VFW  All American and All State Post Commander 2006-2007 VFW District 6 Commander from 2011-2012, and the current District  Chaplain & member of Military Order of the Cooties Pup-Tent 23, Jax. FL

Seiler’s hometown is Boyertown, PA where he graduated high school June 1968 then joined the US Navy July 1968 and served on the USS Kitty Hawk air craft carrier from 1970 to
1972 off the coast of VietNam.  As a VietNam veteran, Seiler’s military ribbons/medals include: National Defense, Navy Unit Commendation, Navy Good Conduct, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Vietnam Service with 2 bronze stars, Vietnam (RVN) Gallantry Cross with palm and the RVN Vietnam Campaign Ribbon.

Seiler was employed by TrueNet Communications, Inc. Jacksonville, FL, as an engineering contractor for telephone and cable TV companies.

Harry Seiler has for the past 3 years served as a mentor for troubled veterans in the Jacksonville area trough a program called ‘Veterans Treatment Court’. There are numerous veterans courts throughout our state and our country enabling veterans to be treated fairly by the justice system with consideration of their post-war transition, health and well-being.
Harry is married to Linda J. Seiler, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Dept. of Florida Conductress 2014-2015.  Harry has one son, Eric S. Seiler, 1 step-dauther, Melissa Tutton and two grand-daughters, Ashley and Savannah.
