VFW Post 2550 Mural Dedication

Dunedin, Florida

On Tuesday 3 July 2018, VFW  Post 2550 had a phenomenal “Mural Dedication” celebrating freedom.   This was a combined effort  with the community and the City of Dunedin, local Rotary Clubs, local artist, local politicians, and friends of Post 2550!  If you are ever in the Dunedin area, this is a must see, it represents freedom and what American stands for Today~  One of the most moving ceremonies that I have attended, including my 25 years in the US Army! There were Congressman, American Legion Personnel, Purple Heart Recipients, City Mayors, Young Children, Grandparents, County Commissioners, a live American Bald Eagle,  Judges, and so on!

However,  what stood out the most were the  200 plus American Veterans that saluted that mural and remembered their fallen comrades that did NOT  make it there on Tuesday~

God Bless America~  Scouts Out~
